Regulations merely provide a box within which to design. If you possess enough imagination, they will never feel limiting. Especially if you take enough time.

Is A Consultant Right For Your Business?
Consulting is great for every business! Imagine being able to accomplish bigger goals a fraction of the time, wouldn't that be incredible? That is what we are here for! Our purpose is to cut down your time investment in the ASTM things that you probably dread (and we love), meaning you get to focus on the fun stuff, like designing! So, who do we help most often at LiveWire? Here are a few types of business we work with most in this arena:
Builders - Whether you build courses, parks, ziplines, or something revolutionary, we know we can help. Often times it is the creative minds and visionaries that build the most beautiful parks but tend to wrestle with the ideas of compliance, regulations, and rules. Those things are not there to limit your imagination but rather intensify! We help make sense of the white noise so you can run wild with dreaming.
Manufacturers - The Aerial Adventure Industry is rapidly turning away from being a cottage-industry of trolley and harness manufacturers through strict compliance regulations and quality control mandates. We know it feels impossible and insane at first, but rest easy, it will only fortify your business as a leading manufacturer when we are done.
In-House Builders - For organizations that take things into their own hands to fulfill their wild imaginations or are looking to save a buck, we are here to help sort through the minutiae. We have been here before and know what it takes while maintaining the crazy balancing act of doing things In-House.

What Do The ASTM Things Include?
For many businesses, ASTM is either a taboo subject or something no one has ever heard of, and we understand this. We actually believe there is a ton of value packed into ASTM, it's basically a road map to success in our opinion. Check out this list of the top 3 issues facing builders and manufacturers when it comes to ASTM in the aerial adventure industry:
Regulation Compliance: For most builders and manufacturers, compliance represents barriers to design, challenges in construction, time, and, of course, tons of money. We are here to put those compliance issues to rest and show how they are really a road map to success. Whether they are laws, regulations, codes, or insurance requirements, they all feel the same and can be frustrating. We want to shine some light on these areas and bring understanding to them whether they are new or old.
Quality Assurance: This phrase is often overlooked because most people have the best intentions and believe they are doing it the best way possible. We do not want to debate these things, but we do want to help make sure that the best way is done every time, regardless of who in the company is doing it. After all, when the worst case scenario becomes reality, we want to help make sure your company is safe and secure from the courts.
Documentation: It is a necessary evil but it is the first thing to get dropped off the to-do list. It is so easy to get caught up in the moment of building an incredible zipline or get bogged down in the monotony of manufacturing a zillion widgets every day, but we want to help make sure documentation doesn't get left off the next to-do list. We have worked with many companies to help make documentation simple, effective, and sustainable

How Are These Big Issues Getting Resolved?
Our approach to consulting at LiveWire is guided by Leonardo da Vinci's belief that, "Art and science can work hand in hand," thus our approach is a mix of straightforward knowledge and experience applied through intuition and reason. The science side is firmly planted in the standards of ASTM with other various standards informing the gaps and broader scope areas. Our years of experience performing a wide variety of jobs in the industry supports the knowledge and enabless us to find common grounds for education and application. All of this is accomplished through a simple multiphase process: Discovery, Development, and Implementation. The art side, well, that's the human aspect explained as gut feelings, intuition, reason, and perception. We know this is all unlocked by our lack of entrenchment in the industry which affords us fewer blind spots and more opportunities for our creativity and originality to flourish. What you see is what you get from us, no smoke or mirrors here.

5 Reasons to Not Work With Us
Yep, you read that right, we're telling you the top reasons why you simply should not hire us. Or maybe even listen to us at all! This will definitely rank as the worst sales pitch ever, but we believe in honesty, which is something we know is often in short supply in this industry. So, without further ado, here are the top 5 reasons to not hire LiveWire Aerial Design as a consulting firm!
You have probably never heard of us or our founder, David Saenz. But along the same lines, most people have probably never heard of John Doerr either and he's a billionaire.
We have never had a booth at ACCT or IAAPA. These are the places where many businesses meet and market but we have decided to forego the opportunities. These trade shows are often the mark of a legitimate company but we believe our work and clients speak for themselves. We are still in attendance every though and enjoy every minute of them!
We are not an ACCT PVM (Professional Vendor Member) and never intend on becoming one. This mark has become a badge of business validation in the challenge course industry but we have different feelings about it. Often when we inform people we are not a PVM, the conversation ends, but we believe this is where it should begin!
We are a small. Honestly. Really small. Of course we desire to expand but we want to ensure that the quality of our products and services only rises as we develop. As evidence, when you are scheduling a consulting call, there is only one option available: David.
We are a young company. We are started in 2018, and just barely. Take that as you will, but call our references first. It's a long list and we are confident you will find your answers.
